Is this the same as tennis?

No. Tennis is racket Grand Slams and tour events. This tab is table tennis (ping pong) when listed.

Why are some matches missing?

The exchange only shows enabled events. WhatsApp cannot add a Challenger paddles draw that is not on the board.
